Description

Via Rail Canada Inc. ("VIA") issues this Invitation to Tender to cover general office supplies required by the Corporation, to be supplied in a manner which guarantees maximum service level from the Supplier(s), minimum administrative tasks to VIA, respect of the environment and at the lowest evaluated cost. The tenderer(s) shall be able to provide and deliver office supplies at different locations nationwide.

Mandatory criteria:

1) Insurance
Tenderer has the following minimal insurance coverage:

Commercial General Liability Insurance of [$5,000,000]

Tenderer is requested to provide proof of meeting these insurance requirements by submitting a copy of their existing certificate in this Form of Tender.

2) National network of sales and services
Tenderer shall have the in place an established national network of sales and services capable of delivering orders at all the locations listed by VIA.

3) Online Ordering System
Tenderer shall provide an online ordering portal

4) Experience with national accounts
Tenderer shall currently be serving national accounts for at least three (3) years and the service must be used by at least three (3) clients similar to Via in terms of size and usage.

5) Official languages
Tenderer’s employees who will be in contact with VIA shall be able to provide services in English or French.
