The Work includes:
• Removal of existing culverts and crossings with the exclusion of the portion of the crossings between the rails
• Installation of two (2) new culverts per site
• Reconstruction of crossings over the new culverts
The crossings are located on the Alexandria Subdivision, in the Province of Ontario.
In order to able to submit a Tender the Tenderer must comply with the following mandatory criteria:
1)Tenderer has the following minimal insurance coverage:
a)Commercial General Liability Insurance of $25,000,000 per occurrence with a global policy aggregate of $50,000,000;
b)Standard Owners Form Automobile Liability Insurance of [$5,000,000]
c)All Risks insurance policy
d)Contractor’s Pollution Liability of $10 000 000
2)Be present at the mandatory site visit on September 27th 2017 - 7:30AM at VIA Les Coteaux Railway Station, located in Les Coteaux au 50 rue Daoust, Coteau, QC, J7X 1J7, Canada
3)Provide proof that you can provide
a)Letter of Credit
Or
b)Bond Requirement as percentage of Contract Prices:
Bid Bond 10%,Performance Bond – 50%,Labour & Material Payment Bond – 50%
4)Tenderer must have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in railroad installation and construction.
5)Project manager must have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in railroad installation and construction.Site supervisor must have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in railroad installation and construction.
6)All works must be completed no later than December 1th 2017.
