Description

VIA Rail wishes to retain the services of a Supplier to support VIA Rail in the preliminary studies and designs phase (architecture and engineering) for a new intermodal station in Dorval that will connect various modes of intercity transportation and VIA Rail trains.

To be eligible to submit a proposal, the Proponents must meet the following mandatory requirements:

The Proponent must be able to provide services in both official languages of Canada
The Proponent must meet the following criteria:
1. Design and Implementation of constructions projects in Canada with budgets of $100 million or more
2. Design and Implementation of train station construction projects in Canada with budgets of $20 million or more
3. Professional certifications in the region (OAQ and OIQ)
The Proponent must have at least ten (10) years of experience in engineering and architecture
The lead architect must have at least fifteen (15) years of experience
The Project Manager must have at least fifteen (15) years of project management experience
The key experts of the Proponent’s team must be located no more than 100 km from Montreal
The Proponent must justify the absence of possible conflicts of interest with other existing mandates
