Description

VIA is looking for Suppliers for the provision of Diesel for train operations for all fueling locations across Canada identified in the Scope of Work of this Invitation to Tender (ITT).
The service comprises the following:
A. Supply of diesel (product only) - as per the daily rack price; ideally closest to the fueling location.
B. Transportation of diesel - comprises the transportation (by truck) of diesel to a stationary tank (bulk transportation), as required for each fueling location indicated in the SOW.
C. Supply and transportation of fuel (product and transportation) - this can be a combination of the two options, including DTL (direct to locomotive) diesel supply.

VIA can retain different suppliers depending on the best value solution offered per fueling location.
Suppliers can respond independently to only one of the services A, B or C; they can also respond to several services if they choose so.

Additional Bidding Instructions

The Suppliers are required to complete the Price Table provided in this ITT.
This Excel document consists of five (5) tabs:
1. Instructions - Consists of instructions to complete the price tables.. It's very important to read and understand them before completing the pricing tables.
2. A.DTL ,
3. B.Bulk-Rack,
4. C.Bulk-transport,
5. Volume rebates.
The Tenderers can provide pricing for one, two or all tables, for one or multiple locations . It is understood that the Volume rebates are applicable for the entire purchased volume. DTL table can't be scinded (meaning the Tenderer must complete the pricing for the product AND transportation).
