0953.0101.03 - Invermere Sanitary Lift Station Upgrades

The contractor shall be experienced and capable of completing full lift station replacements, as well as removing 
and replacing internal piping (PVC or stainless steel), valves, pumps and electrical components inside salvaged 
wet wells. Typically, the work requires the station to be kept online and interrupted minimally during 
construction. The contractor is to provide creative solutions to maintain operation of the existing station while 
minimizing bypass pumping costs where possible. The work includes providing or upgrading an electrical service 
from the nearest BC Hydro pole location. A new control panel will be installed which shall have capabilities for 
alarm call outs, pump runtime logging, and for future SCADA integration. The contractor is expected to 
commission the station fully upon construction completion, and to fully restore surface areas to pre-
construction conditions or better, depending on the site.
