DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT

The University is conducting an RFP for Winter Camping Services and Advanced Water Navigation – White Water Canoeing
The Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education (KPE) requires a full-service facility where the Faculty’s “Outdoor Projects” can be held for undergraduate students in their 3rd year. Proponents shall provide details of their recommended programming based on the descriptions provided below.

This is a multi-category RFP. The categories are as follows:
Category 1 – Winter Camping Services
Category 2 - Advanced Water Navigation – White Water Canoeing
Proponents may submit Proposals on one or more categories. The University may award each category to different Proponents or both categories to the same Proponent.

Note that transportation from the University of Toronto to the camp location and from the camp returning to University of Toronto is not required and shall not form part of the scope of work and price. Proponents shall clearly identify if the activities will occur on the camp premises or at another location. If activities are at another location, full details on the location will be provided. Approximate costs associated with travel to an off-site location shall be noted and will be negotiated with the successful proponent if necessary.

The procurement is anticipated to involve negotiation. An electronic auction is not anticipated

Submissions must be submitted electronically at https://utoronto.bonfirehub.ca/ on or before Monday, November 13, 2023 (2:00 PM local time). The submissions will not be opened publicly.

CONTRACT DETAILS
The term of the agreement is one (1) year with an option to extend to three (3) 1-year terms.
