The University of Toronto, with support from the Canadian Foundation for Innovation, the Ministry of Colleges and Universities – Ontario Research Fund (ORF), and the Structural Genomics Consortium (SGC) is looking to purchase a Quadrupole Mass Spectrometry System.
The High Resolution / Accurate Mass Mass Spectrometry System will be used to screen 460K compound library to identify hits by ASMS method for 100’s of proteins and to confirm the hits by Native MS method. It will also be used to screen library of new compounds synthesized by Self Driving lab to identify more potent binders.
Self-driving labs perform experiments automatically, generating large amounts of high-quality data with minimal human intervention. High Resolution / Accurate Mass Mass Spectrometry System is composed of five modules: High resolution Mass spec, pumps; autosampler; column compartment, and diode array / UV detector.
The instruments will be one component of an Autonomous robotic chemistry platform being developed within the SGC facility as one node of the University of Toronto Acceleration Consortium (https://acceleration.utoronto.ca/).
