DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT
The University is conducting an RFP for Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometer for Targeted and Untargeted Lipidomics
Targeted and untargeted liquid chromatography (LC) tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS) is being procured to identify changes in specific high and low abundance lipid molecules (i.e. 16:0/DHA-PC), oxylipins (i.e. 12-HEPE, 17-HDHA), endocannabinoid (i.e. DHEA) in unlabeled and isotopically labeled blood and tissues that will identify specific metabolic pathways that are up- or down-regulated in various dietary, genetic and health conditions, among others.
The procurement is anticipated to involve negotiation. An electronic auction is not anticipated.
