Description:
The Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto is seeking a leasing arrangement to finance the complete replacement of our its servers, data storage, data backup and disaster recovery infrastructure along with complete replacement of our its computer fleet as well as associated peripherals including monitors, data projectors, computer mounts and. The purpose of this RFP is to acquire competitive lease and finance rates for this project only. We estimate our pre-tender project cost is in the range of $1.4 - $1.65 million CAD, which includes, complete replacement of server, storage, and backup infrastructure; purchase of approximately 670 desktop computers; de-installation/installation costs; licensing fees; warranty costs and peripheral component costs. A separate RFP has been issued to select a vendor for the server infrastructure. The selection of a vendor for the server infrastructure and subsequent negotiations isare expected to be completed on or around late March 26, 2018. The Faculty of Dentistry will leverage a pre-existing University of Toronto agreement for the purchase of the new computer fleet along with peripheral equipment.

Time-Frame for Delivery/Duration of Agreement:
The term of the agreement is to be for a period of four (4) years with an option in favour of the University to extend the agreement on the same terms and conditions for an additional term of up to one (1) year. It is anticipated that the agreement will be executed on or around April 2018.

Negotiation:
At the end of the evaluation process, the University of Toronto may identify one or more suppliers with whom it wishes to enter into negotiations, by written notification.
