DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT
The University is conducting an RFP for Flow Cytometer for Advanced Cell Marker Analysis
The University of Toronto, with support from the NSERC RTI award and the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy, intends to purchase a flow cytometer cell analyzer. This instrument will enable and support cutting-edge research by researchers and trainees at the Faculty of Pharmacy and their collaborators. Flow cytometry is used at the Faculty of Pharmacy to characterize several cell types, particularly to better understand cell phenotypes that may translate to human health and disease. Currently, ten (10) different labs within the Faculty rely on flow cytometry to advance their research.
The procurement is anticipated to involve negotiation. An electronic auction is not anticipated.
