DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT
The University is conducting an RFP for Fabrication of AMD Loading Frame.
As part of the Civil and Mineral Engineering (CIVMIN) Department’s major research infrastructure project supported by the Canada Foundation for Innovation’s Innovation Fund 2020 and the Ontario Research Fund’s Large Infrastructure Fund 2020, one of the main items is the design and construction of the world’s first Adjustable Multi-Dimensional (AMD) loading module system at the Structural Testing Facilities (STF) at the University of Toronto. The proposed AMD loading module system will enable testing of larger-scale specimens in numerous configurations under multi-directional loading conditions.
The procurement is anticipated to involve negotiation. An electronic auction is not anticipated.
