DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT
The University is conducting an RFP for Cryogen-Free Variable Temperature Cryostat with Solenoid Magnet
This Variable-Temperature Cryostat will be a workhorse measurement system in Sergio de la Barrera’s lab, providing temperatures from below 2 K to room temperature and integrated electrical wiring for measuring sample properties. The Cryostat will incorporate a superconducting solenoid magnet that operates with the sample at any temperature in the available range, fully automated sample temperature control, and a fast sample-exchange mechanism that enables loading and unloading samples without warming up the magnet or the cryostat.
The procurement is anticipated to involve negotiation. An electronic auction is not anticipated.
