Description:
The Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education is purchasing an optoelectronic motion capture system for applied sport/exercise biomechanics research in the Goldring Centre for High-Performance Sport. The system should be configured to accurately and reliably measure complex (three-dimensional) whole-body (multi-segment and multi-joint) sport/exercise movements, and for seamless integration and synchronization with third-party devices such as kinetic (i.e., force plates) and electromyographic recording systems.
The system may be used in a variety of locations (e.g., indoors and outdoors), and by a number of different operators who have various levels of knowledge and experience in the measurement and analysis of human movement.

Conditions for Participation:
Each Proponent must submit a Proposal in which the total dollar amount in Appendix C- Rate Bid Form does not exceed $200,000 in Canadian Dollars (Exclusive of HST). Proposals with a total cost above this threshold will not be given any further consideration.

Time-Frame for Delivery/Duration of Agreement:
The term of the agreement is to be for a period of three (3) years, with an option in favour of the University to extend the Agreement on the same terms and conditions for two (2) additional terms of up to one (1) year each. It is anticipated that the agreement will be executed around January, 2018.

Negotiation:
At the end of the evaluation process, the University of Toronto may identify one or more suppliers with whom it wishes to enter into negotiations, by written notification.
