DESCRIPTION OF PROCUREMENT
The University is conducting an RFP for Acoustic Emissions System.
The Department of Civil & Mineral Engineering intends to purchase one (1) Acoustic Emissions System (“AE System” or “System”)
This project aims to purchase a mobile Acoustic Emission system that can be used for rock mechanics and rock physics experiments in the RFDF and concrete experiments, including 3-point bending experiments, in the concrete lab. The AE System will be used for active ultrasonic surveys and passive monitoring of microfracture events.
The procurement is anticipated to involve negotiation. An electronic auction is not anticipated.

Submissions must be submitted electronically at https://utoronto.bonfirehub.ca/ on or before Monday, April 10, 2023 (2:00 PM local time). The submissions will not be opened publicly.

CONTRACT DETAILS
The term of Agreement is intended to be for a period of one (1) year including the first year of warranty period and optional one (1) year of extended warranty.
