The University of Toronto (the “University”) has a requirement for an Agilent 1260 Infinity Series II High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) system with Diode-Array Detector
The purpose of this Advance Contract Award Notice (ACAN) is to signal the University’s intention to award a contract for the above-noted goods and/or services to the pre-selected supplier.

Prior to awarding this contract, the University is providing other potential Suppliers with the opportunity to demonstrate that they are capable of satisfying the requirements as per this ACAN, by submitting a Statement of Capabilities during the fifteen (15) calendar day posting period.

The University requires an Agilent 1260 Infinity Series II HPLC system with Diode-Array Detector, to provide instrumentation for measuring a platform of vitamins and minerals in human milk and/or other biological fluids or tissue-derived fluids, for ongoing studies in preterm infant nutrition and growth. The Agilent 1260 Infinity Series II HPLC system is state-of-the-art and sufficiently compact to be accommodated in available space. A starter kit and training/familiarization program will be included with a (3) three year warranty. The instrument is sufficiently sensitive for measurement of low concentrations of milk components and the training program will support graduate-student participation in using this technology.

Interested Suppliers may submit a Statement of Capabilities clearly demonstrating how they meet the requirement(s) of the ACAN, by sending their response via e-mail to the University contact by the closing date/time.
Statement of Capabilities received by the closing date/time will be evaluated and considered solely for the purpose of determining if a competitive procurement process is warranted.
The University will notify the Suppliers who have submitted a Statement of Capabilities in response to this ACAN of its final decision.
