Description

This Request for Service Qualifications ("RFSQ") is an invitation by the University of Waterloo (UW) to prospective Respondents for Submissions indicating their organization’s capability, experience and qualifications to submit non-binding responses for the provision of Wood Athletic Flooring as described in RFSQ-WR#50127. Respondents must have relevant experience in supplying and installing sprung wood sport flooring, with the demonstrated experience performing the Work as a general contractor, coordinating the work of multiple sub-trades.
This RFSQ is stage one in the process to identify pre-qualified flooring contractors. The intent of the pre-qualification process is to select a short-list of up to five (5) Respondents who will be invited to a Requests for Proposal (“RFPs”) otherwise referred to as “Stage 2”. Bidders must highlight proven experience, demonstrated by similar projects completed in the last five (5) years within the local Post-Secondary institution and/or Sport and Recreation Sector. Ontario experience preferred, however the definition of “local” can be extended to include Canadian experience.
