This project consists of interior renovations to create a new research collaboration space consisting of a reception area, kitchenette, offices and meeting rooms. THe project also consists of the construction of a new corridor.
The work includes an interior renovation of approximately 5,600 ft² (521.6m²) on the fourth floor of the East Campus 5 building.
The Work is identified as NRC/UW Office of Research Collaboration Space, also
known as WR50173, as prepared by the Consultant, V+A Architects (Van Elslander + Associates Architects Inc.)
General Contractors are invited to bid provided they demonstrate that they
are currently on a Vendor of Record list for any Post-secondary Education
Institution or Publicly Funded School Board for projects over $2.5M in
construction value (excl HST).
General contractors to provide a completed CCDC 11 –2016 form listing a minimum
of three projects with similar complexity and scope. Bidders shall provide a
WSIB CAD 7 certificate indicating injury statistics for the last 5 years.
References and Health and Safety Program details will be requested from
the shortlisted bidders.
