This project consists of interior renovations to create new office spaces within existing suites, including hazardous material abatement.
The work includes an interior renovation of approximately 1,464 ft² on the sixth floor and 987 ft² on the third floor of the Math and Computer building, 1,261 ft² and 215 ft² on the second floor of the Math 3 building.
The Work is identified as MC/M3, also known as WR#50473, as prepared by the Consultant, Mayhew.
General Contractors are invited to bid provided they demonstrate that they
are currently on a Vendor of Record list for any Post-secondary Education
Institution or Publicly Funded School Board for projects over $250K in
construction value (excl HST). Scope of work includes renovations within an
occupied building detailed phasing and hoarding plans to be prepared by the Contractor.
General contractors to provide a completed CCDC 11 –2016 form listing a minimum
of three projects with similar complexity and scope. Bidders shall provide a
WSIB CAD 7 certificate indicating injury statistics for the last 5 years.
References and Health and Safety Program details will be requested from
the shortlisted bidders.
