Description

The University of Calgary (UCalgary) intends to award a up to a 3-year service contract with an optional 3 x 1-year extension to Qualtrics.Qualtrics is a web-based software platform currently being used for the creation of surveys,polls, and generating reports. The platform is currently being used campus-wide by students, employees, professors, and researchers. Current features which are specifically provided by the platform has been outlined in the ACAN document.
Currently, Qualtrics’s platform has thousands of existing creators which rely on the use of the platform on a day-to-day basis. Due to the nature of how entrenched the platform is, UCalgary
will not be able to implement a new survey system, without causing major disruption. As well, UCalgary would require additional resources to bring on a new platform and would need to train all existing users on the new system.
