Description

The University of Calgary (UCalgary) intends to award up to a 3-year service contract with an optional 2 x 1-year extension to Peoplegrove.
PeopleGrove is the current Mentorship Platform that is being used by the Alumni Programs. This cloud-based mentorship platform offers mentorship matching, flexibility in managing
multiple programs and functionality to support interaction between mentors and mentees. Currently, PeopleGrove is deeply entrenched within UCalgary’s network, there are over 6,000
users (with more signing up daily) who use the software on a day-to-day basis. Due to the nature of how PeopleGrove is used and integrated within the institution, there is currently no
alternative system that can easily replace PeopleGrove.

As UCalgary cannot implement a new system without disruption or requiring additional resources, it is UCalgary’s understanding that PeopleGrove is the only system that will meet
UCalgary’s requirement and is the sole provider of this software.
