2022RSS0049 - Health App Developer – Sapphire

The University of Calgary (UCalgary) intends to award a service contract to MacroMind Media for the design, development process, and maintenance of a health app called Sapphire (UCalgary owned).  Sapphire is being developed for women 40 years or younger who are diagnosed with breast cancer. The purpose of the app is to support those women from the time of diagnosis through and beyond treatment by developing self-management skills, including coping, resilience, and self-efficacy skills through the provision of scientifically based content and information.
It is the University’s understanding, that MacroMind is the sole supplier that has the required experience, qualifications, and knowledge to collaborate with UCalgary to further develop Sapphire which will provide content on building coping, resilience, and self-efficacy skills in women with breast cancer. As well meets all the minimum qualification and experience listed in the ACAN.
