The University of Calgary Stroke Research Group is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to co-design, co-develop, configure, and support a unique grouping of software, hardware, clinical trials, machine learning, and research operations solutions to support multiple researchers and projects all working closely together towards similar goals, objectives and opportunities. There are multiple scopes to be developed in parallel which will require a collaborative approach to agile development and support of cloud-based solutions.
All Intellectual property, prior or otherwise, arising from the solutions, projects, initiatives, opportunities, and infrastructure, created and utilized through these scopes of work will be wholly owned by the University of Calgary Stroke Program Researchers. No existing solutions shall be considered. Scopes of work will be collaborative agile development, working closely with the stroke research group as development, deployment and integration progresses across each scope.
The deliverables and the scope are listed in the Appendix A – RFP specifications.
The successful Proponent shall be awarded a five (5) year contract, with an option to extend for two (2) additional two (2) year terms at the sole discretion of UCalgary. The maximum term of the contract with extensions shall be no more than nine (9) years.
