Diligent’s software (Board Portal) is a content management solution for creating, distributing, and collaborating on meeting materials for the Board of Governors and its committees, and stores files in a central, secure cloud-based environment. Diligent also provides us with a secure way for Board members and management to discuss these confidential materials. Diligent aids in creating digital materials to support the Board of Governors in its work and fulfilling its obligations under the Post-Secondary Learning Act.
UCalgary requires a system that meets both functional and security requirements as outlined in the ACAN. At this time, cannot implement a new system without disruption and needing additional resources, it is the University’s understanding that Diligent is the sole provider of this solution.
