Description

The University of Calgary intends to purchase the CliniMACS Prodigy cell processing and cell culture instrument in conjunction with the TCE consumables kits.

To the research team’s knowledge, the Miltenyl CliniMACS Prodigy in conjunction with CliniMACS kits is the only fully automated closed-system GMP compliant device that allows for cell manufacturing, including the generation of CAR-T cells for treatment of disease. The system allows for selection of starting cells, viral transduction, multi-day culturing and cell growth, and sterile sampling in an enclosed system that produces clinical products that can be infused into a patient.
