The Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) requires the professional services of a qualified Substance Abuse Assessment Professional service provider to conduct various comprehensive SAP assessments and provide detailed assessment reports. The service provider will be responsible for communicating appointment details with the employee and also providing support to employees with finding and connecting employees to suitable treatment facilities. The service provider must have a fully accessible facility to conduct assessments located within the Greater Toronto Area and it is preferred that the location is easily accessible by public transit. The service provider must have a minimum of 5 years related experience in providing SAP services in support of an employer’s alcohol and drug testing policy. The service provider must have a qualified team of professionals and physicians to deliver the service. Physicians are required to be licensed and in good standing with the College of Physicians of Ontario, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in conducting SAP Assessments, specialized in the field of psychiatry and are certified as substance abuse professionals. The service is required for up to a three-year term with options to extend the term for additional periods of up to a cumulative amount of twenty-four (24) months.
