The Work of this Contract, designated D65-2 – Broadview Station - Loop Track Replacement shall include, but not be limited to, the supply of labour, equipment, and materials to: Remove and replace the existing streetcar track, accessories, and existing pavement within the track right-of-way at Broadview Station, on Broadview Avenue from Danforth Avenue to Erindale Avenue and on Erindale Avenue from Broadview Avenue to the east streetcar station exit. Staging of the Work, hoarding, remove and replace the existing traffic signal priority on Broadview Avenue; remove and replace drainage catchment component, including new catch basins, drain pipes, track drains and leads, switch drain leads and sewer pipes; provisions for all new electrical for the new track installation; modifications to the station reinforced platforms including, but not limited to, signage (including Next Vehicle Arrival System (NVAS)), railings, shelters, wayfinding,
and tactile warning plates. Modification to Broadview Subway Station Parkette; removal of existing Overhead Catenary System (OCS), light poles and footings; installation of new OCS, light poles, and footing structures and associated conduits, ductbanks, hardware and grounding systems, including return of old poles and delivery of new poles. Installation of new lubricators; adjustments to the Green P Parking Lot entrance and parking layout, including new fencing/barriers, new retaining wall, removals on monitoring wells, removals/injury of trees, pavement markings, coordination with Toronto Hydro Electrical System Ltd.; and to provide traffic management. This Contract requires the laying and installation of rail (the "TTC Work") by the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC). This TTC Work must be undertaken by TTC directly, using its own employees or service providers or both.
