Description

The TTC requires the service of a Contractor is required to provide personnel including;

Contract Manager to manage and administer the contract, manage facilities, and schedule Appeal Interviews.
Registered Occupational Therapists
Persons with disabilities who use conventional transit

to participate as Appeal Panel members for TTC's Wheel-Trans eligibility appeal process. The TTC will provide Transit Experts to act as additional members with equal standing on the Appeal Panel. It is anticipated that there will be approximately 50-150 each month, (600-1,800 annually) and may increase based on demand. As feasible, Appeal Interviews will be scheduled in batches.
The appeal process is a critical component for determining customer eligibility for Wheel-Trans service and aligns with the expanded eligibility requirements in the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
