Description

The Scope of Work under this Contract includes the application of pavement markings within the municipal boundaries of the Town of Hearst.

The Contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, labor, and related items necessary to complete the work of pavement markings, including but not limited to center line, dividing lines, intersection stop lines and crosswalk lines as shown on the Drawings. If mutually agreeable between parties, the Contract may be renewed under the same or similar terms and conditions for successive one (1) year periods but shall not exceed a total Contract length of five (5) years.

The work shall be completed by July 12th, 2024 and a maximum of fifteen (15) working days shall be respected between the beginning and the end of the works.

Additional Bidding Instructions

The Town of Hearst requires that Tenderers use the two-envelope system to submit their tender.

The first envelope to be opened first shall contain the tender deposit (10% certified cheque or as described in the Tender).
The second envelope shall contain the Tender Form, Standard Tender Requirements, Schedule of Unit Prices, Schedule of Work and any other form as required by the Tender Documents.

Both envelopes are to be sealed and opaque and clearly marked as to the contents.
