Description
 
TPS is accepting submissions for Upfitting of ETF Breaching Truck for Toronto Police Service (TPS).
 
Closing Time
 
Electronic submissions will be accepted until Tuesday May 19, 2020 at 1:00:00 p.m. local time as per electronic bid clock identified on MERX.
Submission Requirements
 
Your submission for RFQ 1380997-20 must be sent to TPS using the MERX portal only. Respondents shall be solely responsible for the delivery of their submission using the MERX portal as per the electronic bid clock identified on MERX and the RFQ closing date, in accordance with the Submission Requirements outlined in the RFQ. Late submissions are not permitted. Any Bid submitted after the submission deadline will be rejected.
 
 
Scope of Work
 
TPS is issuing this RFQ to obtain a Vendor for Unfitting Services in accordance with the provisions and specifications contained in this Request for Quotation. Bidders must submit prices for Seat Repairs according to APPENDIX A – SPECIFICATIONS and APPENDIX B – FEE SUMMARY FORM outlined in RFQ document. All items in Table 1 must be bid on for your quotation to be considered.

General
 
The request is to have a compartment Built onto a 2020 Ford F550 Chassis 4X4 Super Cab which will be supplied by Toronto Police Service.
 
The compartment will be similar in design as a resent Marine rescue truck the service had built (see attached drawings)
 
The compartments will be built to fit the following dimensions of tools and equipment
 

• Explosive Magazine  36’’ long x19” high x 19” wide  800lbs  to be mounted in box directly behind the cab of the vehicle on the floor.
• Stihl Quick Cut Saw 30” long x 18” x high x 14” wide  on an exterior shelf driver’s side
• Chain Saw  36” long x 13” high x 13” wide on an exterior shelf  same cabinet as Quick cut saw
• Saws all in case 21” long x 6” high x 16” wide on an exterior shelf passenger side.
• Saint Ram x2  32” long x 10 high x 10 wide  on an exterior shelf passenger side
• Door Raider in case 60” long x 7” high x 18” wide an exterior cabinet on driver’s side along with tank case for door raider.
• Ballistic Shields x 2.  36” long x 8” thick x 24” wide. Mounted in an exterior cabinet passenger side
• Break and Rake x 2  68” long x 6” high x 4 “ wide  Mounted in a tube affixed to ceiling over Mag
• Gas Kit Box 32 long x 8” high x 22” wide on shelf driver’s side
• 3 x ammo cans  DD’s  passenger side shelf
• Step ladder in rear of Box
• 2 x traditional rams 32” long x 12 high x 6’ wide  exterior shelf  driver’s side
• Mini ICOR Robot  27” long x 18” high x 16” wide on a pull out shelf on passenger side 66lbs
• ICOR Control case on shelf above the Mini ICOR
• Matrice Drone in case 36” long x 18” wide x 12” high  On a Shelf above Explosive mag
• Mavic Drones x 2 in boxes 18” long x 8” high x 16” wide  on a Shelf Passenger side
• Blast Shields in Case x 2 stored in rear of vehicle
