Description
TPS is accepting submissions for the RFQ # 1295229-19 for Supply & Delivery of Male and Female Clip on Neckties for the TPS.
Closing Time
Electronic submissions will be accepted until until 1:00:00 p.m. on Friday, February 28-th, 2019 as per electronic bid clock identified on MERX.
Submission Requirements
Your submission for this opportunity must be sent to TPS using the MERX portal only. Respondents shall be solely responsible for the delivery of their submission using the MERX portal by the time and closing date, as per the electronic bid clock identified on MERX and the RFQ closing date, in accordance with the Submission Requirements outlined in the RFQ. TPS reserves the right to reject any or all responses at its sole discretion.
Scope of Work
This RFQ, issued by the TPS, is to obtain a Vendor of Record (VOR) for the provision of Male and Female Clip on Neckties for TPS. Bidders submitting quotations shall have completed work similar in type and scope or shall be able to refer to specific work of a comparable nature. Bidders must submit detailed requirements and cost prices for Male and Female Clip on Neckties according to Appendix A and Appendix B outlined in RFQ document. All bidders MUST submit Table 1 with their bid submission. All items in table 1 MUST be bid on for your quotation to be considered.
Contract Term
The term of this Contract is for a 3(three) year period commencing upon awarding the Contract starting from April 1st, 2019 until April 1st, 2022 with an option to renew for an additional two 1-year term based on performance and other indicators and may include Board approval.

In addition to the mandatory Bid Submission Form, APPEDIX A and B, the following completed forms are required with your submission:
- TPS Policies Form
- Environmentally Responsible Procurement Form;
- Statutory Declaration Form;
- Key Personnel Form;
- Bidders Experience Form:
NOTE: Use of the Service Image
Use of the Toronto Police "Service image" which includes any crest, insignia, flag or other symbol representing the Police Services Board or the TPS to enhance, identify or distinguish the quotation submission is discouraged.
Non-Exclusivity
The creation of this RFQ shall not be a guarantee of exclusivity.
Piggyback
The TPS may, upon request, permit other publicly funded organizations and the Police Cooperative Purchasing Group (PCPG) to purchase against any contract, which may result from this RFQ. Bidders are requested to indicate on the bid submission form Appendix B if they will extend the pricing, terms and conditions of this bid to other government agencies, if the bidder becomes the contractor. The contractor agrees to this provision, participating agencies may enter into a contract with the contractor for the purchase of the goods described herein based on the terms, conditions, prices, and percentages offered by the contractor. Minor changes in terms and condition, including shipping and delivery options, may be negotiated by participating agencies. Please note: copies of the contractors submission may need to be provided to the interested agency (in confidence) in order to review prior to participating.
