TPS is accepting submissions for the provision of supply and Install, and repairs of Steelcase Furniture.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Submissions shall only be accepted electronically via the MERX Portal prior to 1:00:00 P.M. on Friday, September 21, 2018. Submissions submitted in any other manner shall be found non-compliant and disqualified.
TPS reserves the right to reject any or all responses at its sole discretion.
SCOPE OF WORK
Steelcase furniture authorized vendors will be required for the provision of maintaining TPS’s current Steelcase product lines in good working order, provide additional Steelcase product to maintain or supplement existing product lines, reconfigure existing furniture as required, assemble new furniture, furniture repairs for the warranty and non- warranty items and supply keys & locks. TPS Facility Management Services (FCM) reserves the right to determine the nature of the work required. Repair request shall be actioned within 3 business days of receiving it. The successful vendor may be required to provide service after hours and weekend work as required.
INTENT
The intent is to select one (1) Vendor of Record (VOR) for the provision of supply and Install, and repairs of Steelcase Furniture. The VOR will be invited to submit estimates as required, exclusively, on TPS repairs, replacement or new installation. Individual prices submitted will be subject to review by the TPS.
NON-EXCLUSIVITY
The creation of this RFQ shall not be a guarantee of exclusivity.
CONTRACT TERM
The term of this contract for the provision of supply and Install, and repairs of Steelcase furniture shall be for two(2) years commencing from the date of award of the contract, with the provision of extension for an additional one(1) year term subject to the Toronto Police Board approval(TPSB).
PIGGYBACK (if applicable)
The TPS may, upon request, permit other publicly funded organizations and the Police Cooperative Purchasing Group (PCPG) to purchase against any Contract which may result from this RFQ. Bidders are requested to indicate on the Fee Summary form if they will extend the pricing, terms and conditions of this Bid to other government agencies, if the Bidder becomes the Service Provider. The Service Provider agrees to this provision, participating agencies may enter into a Contract with the Service Provider for the purchase of the Services described herein based on the terms, conditions, prices, and percentages offered by the Service Provider . Minor changes in terms and conditions may be negotiated by participating agencies. Please note: copies of the Service Provider’s submission may need to be provided to the interested agency (in confidence) in order to review prior to participating.
