This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is an invitation by the Toronto Police Services (TPS) to prospective and qualified bidders to submit a quotation for Site Audits - Overhead Doors, Gates and Parking Arms as further described in this RFQ
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Quotations must be submitted through the MERX Electronic Bid Submission (“EBS”) System prior to 1:00:00 P.M. local time on Thursday, April 21, 2022 Local Time.

Bidders shall be solely responsible for the delivery of their submission using the MERX portal by the time and closing date, in accordance with the Submission Requirements outlined in the RFQ.

TPS reserves the right to reject any or all responses at its sole discretion.
PREAMBLE
Toronto Police Service (TPS) has approximately twenty-nine (29) buildings with a variety of vehicular gates, overhead doors and parking arms. TPS is retaining a service contract to provide design/consultation and contract administration work for many of our existing facilities. The contract may also include gate lifecycle replacement projects. In addition, the work to include site work verifications, quotation analysis, major part replacement recommendations, providing advice on effective preventative maintenance schedules, and miscellaneous technical advice on an as needed basis.
CONTRACT TERM
The term of the contract will be for three (3) years from the date of the Award with an option to renew the contract for an additional two (2) one (1) year terms.
PIGGYBACK (if applicable)
The TPS may, upon request, permit other Public Bodies to purchase against any Contract which may result from this RFQ. Bidders are requested to indicate on the Pricing Submission form if they will extend the pricing, terms, and conditions of this Bid to other Public Bodies if the Bidder becomes the Vendor.
If the Vendor agrees to this provision, participating agencies may enter into a Contract with the Vendor for the purchase of the Goods described herein based on the terms, conditions, prices, and percentages offered by the Vendor. Minor changes in terms and condition, including shipping and delivery options, may be negotiated by participating agencies.
Please note: copies of the Vendor’s submission may need to be provided to the interested agency (in confidence) in order to review prior to participating.
NON-EXCLUSIVITY
The creation of this RFQ shall not be a guarantee of exclusivity.
