Public Safety/Crime Prevention Consulting Services:
A two-envelope request for proposal process will be utilized for this submission.
Proposal submission in Envelope #1 (technical response) will be sealed and contain one (1) original copy signed by an authorized officer of the company and three (3) additional copies of their proposal, which will include one digital/electronic PDF (searchable) copy on a USB flash drive (price excluded).
The original copies are to be clearly marked with the word ‘Original’ to be delivered to Purchasing Services, 2nd Floor, 40 College Street, Toronto, Ontario M5G 2J3, prior to 1:00:00 P.M. LOCAL TIME on Monday, August 28th, 2017.
Proposal submission in Envelope #2 (pricing response) will be sealed and will include (1) original only, signed by an authorized officer of the company.
Intent
The Toronto Police Service intends to select a proponent to provide public safety/crime prevention consulting services as described herein. The successful proponent will partner with TPS resources assigned to develop, prepare and coordinate the creation of crime prevention material and processes for use by neighbourhood officers throughout the Toronto Police Service described herein.
Mandatory requirements:
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience performing this type of public safety/crime prevention consultative service within the last 5 years;
- Knowledgeable about public safety and crime prevention issues;
- Must acknowledge the tight deadlines and confirm ability to complete the services and deliverables prior to the specified deadlines.
