Downtown Toronto, Hotel Service Providers to Supply:
Seminar Facilities, Accommodations and Food Services
for the 2nd World Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer
(LGBTQ) Conference 2019
Service Providers are invited to submit responses for the provision of Seminar Facilities, Accommodations, and Food Service for the 2019, LGBTQ Conference for the Toronto Police Service (TPS) for four consecutive days – (Tuesday through Friday) with the following date:
June 19-June 21 2019
Expected attendance is 300-350 delegates
Due to this being an international conference, many of the tourist attractions are located in the downtown core including the Church Wellesley Village; Hotel Service Providers must be located in downtown Toronto.
The TPS was asked by the Dutch National Police to host the 2nd World LGBTQ Conference for Criminal Justice Professionals in 2019. The TPS is anticipating welcoming 300 to 350 delegates from around the world, including not only North America, the United Kingdom, Europe and Australia as well. Tourism revenue forms a critical part of the City of Toronto economy, the feedback that has been received about this conference being held in Toronto, indicates their enthusiasm for wanting to visit Toronto.
Room rate must reflect all taxes including if there is a destination marketing program fee (DMP) and must not exceed $250.00 dollars. A breakdown with your submission of the all-inclusive price is requested.
SUMBISSION REQUIREMENTS
The Service Provider must register with MERX as an E-Bid Authorized Signer to attain a valid PIN from MERX in order to have the ability to formally complete and upload a response. Please ensure that the registration is completed 24 hours prior to uploading your response.
