This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is an invitation by the Toronto Police Services (TPS) to pre-qualified architectural consulting firms to submit a quotation for Electrical Review and Generator Installation as further described in this RFQ
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Quotations must be submitted through the MERX Electronic Bid Submission (“EBS”) System prior to 1:00:00 P.M. local time on Friday, July 30, 2021 Local Time.

Bidders shall be solely responsible for the delivery of their submission using the MERX portal by the time and closing date, in accordance with the Submission Requirements outlined in the RFQ.

TPS reserves the right to reject any or all responses at its sole discretion.
PREAMBLE
Prequalified Architectural Consulting Services Firms (Bidders) are invited to submit their Bids to conduct a full electrical assessment and confirm findings in a 2018 feasibility report. Provide recommendation that would provide “full” back-up generator power at 330 Progress Ave. This assessment and feasibility study will review the facilities current building infrastructure to support the required back-up generator in a “power out” or disaster recovery situation.
CONTRACT TERM
The term of the contract will be for three (3) years from the date of the Award with an option to renew the contract for an additional one (1) six month term.
PIGGYBACK (if applicable)
The TPS may, upon request, permit other Public Bodies to purchase against any Contract which may result from this RFQ. Bidders are requested to indicate on the Pricing Submission form if they will extend the pricing, terms, and conditions of this Bid to other Public Bodies if the Bidder becomes the Vendor.
If the Vendor agrees to this provision, participating agencies may enter into a Contract with the Vendor for the purchase of the Goods described herein based on the terms, conditions, prices, and percentages offered by the Vendor. Minor changes in terms and condition, including shipping and delivery options, may be negotiated by participating agencies.
Please note: copies of the Vendor’s submission may need to be provided to the interested agency (in confidence) in order to review prior to participating.
NON-EXCLUSIVITY
The creation of this RFQ shall not be a guarantee of exclusivity.
