TORONTO PEARSON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
The Greater Toronto Airports Authority (GTAA) has a program of
sampling and analyzing soil, groundwater, and effluent from the storm
sewer channels and sanitary sewer systems, at Pearson Airport. Sampling
is performed by departmental personnel with the use of automatic,
sequential, and composite sampling equipment, along with grab sample
collection methods. Samples are to be analyzed under this contract for a
range of parameters (Tables 1 and 2 and the CCME Canadian Soil Quality
Guidelines), which may vary from season to season.
**GTAA NOTICE**
As a part of ensuring that contractors perform their work in accordance with GTAA safety requirements, applicable legislation, and good industry practices, contractors are required to meet the GTAA established levels of safety competence and compliance by successfully completing the Application for Safety Pre-Qualification. For expediency, it is recommended that bidders/tenderers make their Safety Pre-Qualification submissions prior to their Proposal Submission.
