Description

The TPA, branded as 'Green P', is a self-sustaining and self-financing public entity owned by the City of Toronto. Recognized as a world leader in parking technology services, the TPA has built an international reputation as an industry leader in effective and innovative parking solutions ensuring that local businesses continue to grow, neighborhood vibrancy is supported, and its environmental footprint is minimized.

TPA provides 21,600 off-street public parking spaces to non-commercial vehicles throughout the City of Toronto in over 200 facilities, as well as close to 18,000 on-street spaces and 24 parking garages, operating 24 hours, 7 days a week.

The scope of this RFQ includes the provisions of Landscaping Services exclusively for TPA parking garage structures and outdoor surface parking lots located throughout the City of Toronto and the city of Vaughan from the date of award to December, 2021 with the option to renew the Contract for an additional two (2) separate one (1) year period, all in accordance with the provisions and specifications contained in this Request for Quote (RFQ), and the Toronto Parking Authority’s Procurement Policies, and the attached Appendix “C” - Price Form, and the Fair Wage Policy

Event Note

Bidders MUST attend a mandatory site meeting at TPA Headquarters, located at 33 Queen Street East, 4th floor on March 11, 2019 commencing at 10:00 AM. Bidders will meet in the 2nd floor reception.

Bidders MUST attend the site meeting to familiarize themselves with the work and ascertain the full extent of the Deliverables required.

Bidders must sign in with the TPA’s representative at the mandatory site meeting and clearly indicate on the sign-in sheet the name of the firm they are representing for their Quotation to be considered.

A record of questions and answers as deemed relevant from the site meeting will be distributed in the form of an Addendum. The TPA reserves the right not to answer questions at the Site Meeting but will answer questions that arise at the site meeting as part of an Addendum.

Bidders submitting Quotations that do not attend the mandatory site meeting SHALL be declared Non-Compliant.
