On behalf of the Toronto Parking Authority (TPA) and City of Toronto, we would like to advise you of the following Expression of Interest (EOI) to help shape the future of the City of Toronto’s Electric Vehicle (EV) Public Charging Network.
As the largest municipally owned commercial parking operator in North America, Toronto Parking Authority is playing a pivotal role in building a public network of EV charging to deliver a best-in-class service for our customers and to support the wider adoption of EVs across Canada’s largest City and region. TPA has plans to accelerate the expansion of its EV charging network to meet growing demand by leveraging its off-street and on-street portfolio of almost 60,000 parking spaces to build and operate a leading charging network.
Toronto Parking Authority is engaging in an Expression of Interest process to identify interested parties that wish to participate in the selection process to:
• Provide the necessary infrastructure, operational support and expertise in marketing and analytics to deliver best-in-class EV charging services and accelerate EV adoption in the City of Toronto and broader region.
• Take the coveted brand leadership position and work alongside the TPA to co-create marketing value for the customer through education, awareness, and activation.
