The Ottawa Hospital, on behalf of the University of Ottawa Heart Institute (UOHI) is seeking proposals for the provision of Corporate Intranet and Website Redevelopment Services, as listed in this RFP and the related Scope of Work described in Appendix A.
The UOHI is looking to rebuild its public corporate website and its ancillary websites on the Drupal 9 framework. Ancillary websites include the Canadian Women’s Heart Health Centre (CWHHC), the Ottawa Model for Smoking Cessation (OMSC), HeartWise Exercise, Prevention and Wellness Centre and francoforme. Each of these websites are currently on their own Drupal 7 installation, and the UOHI is looking to integrate all of these ancillary websites in its public corporate website for a seamless and optimized user experience. The Drupal 9 boilerplate framework will serve as a starting point that comes with preconfigured core modules, as well as theme improvements. This will provide the base installation of the new public corporate website from which to apply the approved wireframes and designs as our blueprint to develop this new website and integrate the ancillary websites.
The UOHI is also looking to rebuild its intranet. Two CMS options are being considered for the intranet: Drupal 9 or Sharepoint. Sharepoint is now being considered in addition to our current CMS (Drupal) as this software is part of the Microsoft 365 already in use at the UOHI.
