Description

Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre (TBRHSC) and St. Joseph’s Care Group (SJCG) use a shared Meditech Hospital Information System – Client Server V5.67. The current system in place for Dictation and Transcription is Nuance Enterprise installed in 2011. The system is currently utilized mainly by Health Records and physicians at both organizations and logs approximately 5.0 million lines a year.

The existing Nuance Enterprise system has exceeded end of life and needs to be replaced. TBRHSC/SJCG is accepting proposals for the replacement of our existing Nuance Enterprise system with a Dictation and Transcription system that integrates with our existing Meditech Imaging and Therapeutic Services (ITS) module with voice recognition functionality that offers both front and back end dictation.
