It is SYNERGY NORTH's intention to solicit services to develop and implement a customer portal where customers can receive e-notifications, view their bills, view past and current consumption, and have other customer self-service additions which will be outlined in this scope. Green Button implementation and compliance will be a requirement as well. Synergy North provides the background IT support for three other districts in Northwestern Ontario. Synergy North, being the largest company in our region, has the resources available to assist these smaller utilities. Synergy North will facilitate this relationship and manage the web presentment portal on behalf of the four companies that make up the Northwest Group (Synergy North, Sioux Lookout Hydro Inc., Atikokan Hydro Inc. & Fort Frances Power Corporation). These four hydro companies work together for the purpose of efficiencies and represent a total of approximately 65,000 customer accounts in Northwestern Ontario.
