Description

The structural repair work will consist generally of, but will not necessarily be limited to, the supply of all necessary plant, labour, equipment, and materials to facilitate the repair of concrete sub-deck, concrete beams, and retaining wall undermining, as detailed in the drawings/specifications included in the tender documents. Some of the repair locations are located underwater or in the tidal zone so diving will be required.

The St. John’s Port Authority does not bind itself to accept the lowest, or any, tender.

Bids will be received up to 1500 hours local time, August 26th, 2024, for the abovereferenced project.

Plans, specifications, and tender documents can be obtained online through MERX, or by e-mail only through this e-mail address (lguy@sjpa-apsj.com) upon payment of a $50.00 (HST included) non-refundable fee. Tenders must be delivered to the Port Authority Office, located at 1 Water Street prior to the specified deadline. E-mailed bids will not be accepted. Tenderers are advised that only those contractors who have obtained the tender documents through the noted e-mail address or from MERX will be eligible to bid on this project. Plans and specifications may also be viewed at the St. John’s Office of the Newfoundland and Labrador Construction Association.
