Bids will be received up to 1500 hours local time, March 13th, 2023, for the above-referenced project.
Work covered under this project will consist generally of, but may not necessarily be limited to, the supply of all plant, labour, equipment, and materials to move existing steel shipping containers, dispose of the contents of said containers, dispose of surplus gangways, and the construction of a storage garage complete with electrical service as detailed in the tender drawing package.
Plans, specifications, and tender documents can be obtained online through MERX, or by e-mail only through this e-mail address (lguy@sjpa-apsj.com) upon payment of a $50.00 (HST included) non-refundable fee. Tenders must be delivered to the Port Authority Office, located at 1 Water Street prior to the specified deadline. E-mailed bids will not be accepted. Tenderers are advised that only those contractors who have obtained the tender documents online through MERX, or by the noted e-mail address will be eligible to bid on this project. Plans and specifications may also be viewed at the St. John’s Office of the Newfoundland and Labrador Construction Association.
Results will be e-mailed to the bidders immediately following the tender opening.
The St. John’s Port Authority does not bind itself to accept the lowest, or any, tender.
