Description

St. Clair College, on behalf of the Student Representative Council is accepting applications to
Pre-Qualify General Contractors to provide all necessary services for the construction of a new
outdoor / indoor sports complex with approximate budget of $20 million. The proposed project is
being designed by Architecttura Inc. architects and includes but is not limited the following
amenities:
(a) Open air soccer stadium with a steel and pre-cast concrete grandstand structure
complete with an occupied space below. The grandstand has a building area of
approximately 11,000 sf and a spectator capacity of approximate 1,500.
(b) Open air women’s softball stadium with a steel and precast concrete grandstand
structure complete with an occupied space below. The grandstand has a building
area of approximately 6,000sf and a spectator capacity of approximate 650.
(c) Indoor tennis facility complete with 4 courts and related amenity spaces with a
building area of approximate 38,000 sf.
(d) Extensive site work including (but not limited to) the following:
- Removal of existing asphalt parking areas
- Installation of synthetic turf soccer and softball field systems.
- Surface re-grading and contouring
- All necessary underground services required to accommodate the New
Facilities.
