The Canadian Red Cross (“CRC”) is soliciting information from industry so that it may select one or more service providers to provide services supporting CRC’s Telemarketing programs. CRC is looking at putting in place a three-year term agreement with the possibility for two one-year extensions with the selected vendor(s).
The objective of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is to locate vendor(s) that will provide the best overall value to CRC.
General
One method by which the CRC undertakes fundraising activities is through telemarketing, which includes a variety of different components built on a data informed decision-making structure, with an emphasis on integration and detailed analysis of performance/supporter database indicators.
CRC is primarily seeking a vendor or vendors to provide telemarketing services in support of growing and maintaining its monthly donor portfolio. These services would include ongoing calling for monthly donor conversion, lapsed reactivation, upgrade, cross-sell, emergency activation and stewardship/retention. CRC would also require the vendor to support with phone appends and SMS deployment.
However, as set out in the Statement of Work and the Bidder Response Template, CRC is open to Bidders providing as part of their Proposal additional telephone services such as lead generation activities. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the CRC may choose not to purchase such additional services in its sole discretion and/or may choose to add these services at a later date.
Upon request, CRC can provide an overview of the program, including budget, supporter file size and typical campaign performance with the execution of a Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure agreement.
In order to be considered for selection, all Bidders must meet all mandatory requirements as laid out in the Bidder Response Template; specifically:
- Experience delivering outbound telefundraising services to Canadian charities
- Experience with fundraising and monthly giving programs in the Canadian market
- Capacity to deliver all services outlined in this RFP
- Ability to provide bilingual (EN/FR) services in all regions of Canada
- Able to commit at least one full-time account manager/account lead who will be 100% dedicated to CRC’s account
- Fully compliant with all relevant legislation and regulations relating to the collection and protection of personal and financial data, including PCI, PIPEDA, CRTC and CASL.
