Description

The objective of this Request for Proposals No. 2024-01 (the “RFP”) is to procure complete janitorial and snow removal services for the Calgary Courts Centre property management portfolio of AtkinsRéalis Operations and Maintenance Inc. (“AtkinsRéalis”) in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

It is the intent of AtkinsRéalis to identify strategic partners and establish long-term relationships. Such partnerships play a central role in AtkinsRéalis’ continued growth and service delivery for our Clients.

AtkinsRéalis requires qualified suppliers (the “Proponent”) to provide services to the highest quality and reliability and in the most cost-effective manner. Along with these qualities, it is expected that the Proponent shall provide the services using qualified, trained personnel, along with leading edge technologies, techniques, and processes in the market discipline, to the continuous benefit of the strategic partnership.

Event Note

Proponents are required to attend one (1) mandatory site visit.

It is recommended that all attendees should arrive early as you will be required to pass through building perimeter screening. Once you pass through screening please report your attendance at the AtkinsRéalis O&M site office which is located on the main floor in the North tower.

Each Proponent is to provide the names of its proposed representatives by email (cccbids@atkinsrealis.com) no later than two (2) days prior to the scheduled site visit. For reasons of security, no changes to the representatives are permitted without prior approval of the Central Bid Administrator.

An AtkinsRéalis O&M Representative will conduct the site visit. Any questions that arise during the site visit must be addressed to the Central Bid Administrator who will respond in writing to all proponents.

No cameras of any kind are to be used during the site visit.

All Proponents’ shall disclose all conflicts of interest, perceived conflicts of interest, or unfair advantages by the mandatory site visit.

Additional Bidding Instructions

Based on each Proponent’s evaluation results of the Technical - Written Response, AtkinsRéalis O&M will determine a list of Proponents that will be invited to Stage Two and Stage Three as outlined in the RFP in more detail. Proponents that are not selected as a Lead Proponent will no longer be evaluated by AtkinsRéalis O&M.

In accordance with the Agreement, Proponents shall submit their Proposal via MERX in an Adobe® format (.pdf file extension) with the exception of Schedules “C”, “C1”, “C2”, and “C3” which shall be submitted in Adobe® format and in Microsoft Excel format.
