To receive the Request for Proposals (RFP) documents, respondents will in writing (by email communication) addressed to the SJCG Contact identified below, under the Subject Line " Respondent Request for "Request for Proposals Documents No RFP/17-50 Comprehensive Food and Nutrition Management Services".
The RFP documents will be issued to respondnets by email transmission only, pursuant to the respondent's execution of St. Joseph's Care Group's Non Disclosure / Confidentiality Agreement.

Invitation to Respondents
This Request for Proposals ("RFP") is an invitation to respondents to submit proposals for the provision for Comprehensive Food and Nutrition Management Services at of St. Joseph’s Care Group in Thunder Bay, Ontario as further described in Part 2 – The Deliverables (the “Deliverables”). This RFP is issued by St. Joseph’s Care Group (SJCG).
Type of Contract for Deliverables
The Selected Respondent will be requested to enter into negotiations with St. Joseph’s Care Group for the provision of the Deliverables in the Form of Agreement attached as Appendix A to the RFP. It is St. Joseph’s Care Group’s intention to enter into the Form of Agreement based on that attached as Appendix A to the RFP with only one (1) legal entity. The term of the agreement is anticipated to be five (5) years with five (5) one (1) year options in favor of SJCG to extend the term. The term of the agreement shall form part of any negotiations with the selected respondent. It is anticipated that the agreement will be executed on or about the third week of December 2017.
St Joseph’s Care Group has a robust and diverse client / resident food and nutrition program. The program forms a key part of our Client Centered Care philosophy.
The program acknowledges the importance of food and nutrition in the delivery of care and strives to deliver the highest quality of food and nutrition to its clients / residents in the form of meals, nourishments and dining experience.
The delivery of the food and nutrition program is led by an interdisciplinary health care team of healthcare professionals including physicians, nurses, registered dietitians food services staff, pharmacists and social workers in consultation with clients / residents and their families.
SJCG wishes to contract with a Service Provider for the provision of comprehensive food and nutrition management services (the “Services”) with respect to its client / resident food and nutrition requirements at the SJCG operated facilities identified in this RFP.
