The Saskatchewan School Boards Association (SSBA) is requesting proposals from accounting firms that have extensive experience in providing audit service for not for profit organizations. We invite your firm to submit a proposal to us by August 26, 2022 for consideration.

SSBA – Our Organization
SSBA is a non-profit organization dedicated to excellence in public education by providing
leadership and services to Saskatchewan school boards. Additional information about the Saskatchewan School Boards Association can be found at www.saskschoolboards.ca.

Services to be Performed
Your proposal is expected to cover the following services:

1. Annual audit of the financial statements for the Association and the Specific Land Claims Fund in accordance with Canadian generally accepted auditing standards for the year ended December 31.
2. Management letter containing comments and recommendations with respect to account and administrative controls and efficiency.
3. Meeting with the Audit and Investment Committee and/or Executive, as necessary.
4. Availability throughout the year to provide advice and guidance on taxes, financial accounting and reporting issues.
