1003464 - Science Center Make Up Air (MUA) Replacement

The Science Centre, which is part of the original Power House building, was constructed in circa 1914 and is approximately 110,558 SF (including the Imax).  The Make-up air (MUA) unit that serves the Science Center portion of the building were part of a renovation in 1989 but since has past the useful live and require replacement.  As the unit has exceeded their life cycle, repairs are costly, and prolonged downtime is not acceptable as the unit serves a public area/non-profit group.
The Contractor hired for the replacement of the Science Center Make-up Air unit will be required to hire all necessary subtrades required to complete the Work.  Subcontractors required, but not limited to include roofing, mechanical and electrical contractor.
