This Contract is for the decommissioning and installation of a new excitation and protection system for Unit #1 at the Nipawin Hydroelectric Station.

This opportunity is restricted to suppliers who qualify as a New West Partnership Trade Agreement (NWPTA) Region Supplier.

There will be an Optional Site Meeting at Nipawin Power Plant on September 15, 2020 @ 9:30 AM CST.

It is highly recommended that proponents attend this site meeting.
Please advise the Procurement Contact, identified on the front cover page of this RFP by September 9, 2020 to confirm attendance.

Due to the COVID-19 situation, SaskPower will be limiting the number of attendees on site to 5 or less. It is preferable to send only one (1) representative of your firm to the Site Meeting. If more than 5 attendees confirm their presence at the Site Meeting, SaskPower will add additional times and will notify all confirmed attendees of the specific details.

PPE required including CSA approved hi-vis clothing, safety glasses, hard hat and safety footwear. Additional PPE specific to the COVID-19 pandemic the proponent deems necessary can also be worn.

Any changes to this Site Meeting, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will be communicated via Merx.
